Advertise Your Site

Now You Can Learn How to Drive Floods of Targeted, Quality Traffic to YOUR Website (And It’s Easier Than You Think)!

There are many ways to drive traffic to your website. One Internet marketing expert, John Reese, created an entire seminar around the numerous ways to drive traffic to your website. John then took the DVD’s and CD’s of this seminar, packaged them up into a course (called "Traffic Secrets") and, to prove his methods worked, used the strategies he taught to sell $1 MILLION DOLLARS worth of his course online in just 24 hours. Now that’s powerful proof that the right strategies used correctly can drive traffic and generate massive sales in minutes, not months.

John Reese is considered one of the world’s top online marketing strategists. I am featuring an interview with John Reese at SuperAffiliate.com that you can listen to from your computer, absolutely free. Simply click the link below to listen to John reveal some of his best wealth-building and online marketing secrets: http://www.superaffiliate.com/wordpress/?page_id=37

Here are a few the most popular methods that John, myself, and other expert marketers use to create a massive amount of website traffic.

Pay Per Click Advertising

One of the most popular forms of internet advertising by far is pay per click advertising. These ads allow you to know exactly how much traffic is coming to your website.

This is Google’s Adwords.  As you can see, I have three campaigns running.  I’ve set my budget per day (low until I get more conversions with these keywords). You can see how many clicks I’ve received and what I’m paying per click (CPC).

I like Google Adwords the best (adwords.google.com/select/), but you may also try BidVertiser (www.bidvertiser.com), and Clicksor (www.clicksor.com). You will get as many hits as you want to pay for. The best thing about it is that you can keep a low budget and price each hit.

One problem with PPC is that website owners advertising your site are getting paid every time someone clicks your links. This leads them to try to bend the rules in order to get extra revenue (i.e. they may continually click the links on their site so as to attain a higher earning balance). Most advertisers have now caught onto this and have methods to deal with this kind of behavior, but there will always be ways around it.

Google’s Adwords is possibly the best of the pay per click ad services. Adwords places your links on relevant sites and has strict rules for people who publish the ads via Google’s AdSense. The two programs work as follows: People buy ads through Adwords, AdSense posts the ads on someone else’s site and pay them a portion of what you paid for the link. The strictness which Google continues to work on is what separates Adwords/AdSense from other pay per click advertisement agencies.

Tips to Save You Money

  1. Start Small
  2. Budget at 5 cents per keyword until you KNOW the in’s and out’s.
  3. Set your daily budget at something you can afford.  Remember that what it says you will pay per month is quite possibly what it could be.  Set it to where you think oh $150 a month is not so bad for your budget.
  4. Your budget is YOUR budget.  If you don’t have any money, then don’t act like a big dog here and think that this will bring in MORE sales and in turn, pay for the ad.
  5. Make sure the ADWORDS campaign is set to SHOW ALL TIME.  I made the mistake of setting it for the first day and it never did update itself.  I ended up paying BIGTIME because I didn’t think my ads were getting any clicks until a month later when I noticed my card was charged over $1,000.

Have you seen "Ads by Google" on websites you’ve visited?  They are everywhere, but if you are new to online marketing, you might not recognize them immediately.  On Google, when you search for something, Google Ads appear on the right side of the page in a column.  Those ads are placed by people and companies marketing products and services online.  They have placed their ad there and have agreed to pay a small fee "per click" (meaning that everytime someone clicks on their link, they owe Google a specific amount of money).  Not too long ago, some marketers were getting RICH off of pay per click ads.  They could drive a large amount of traffic to their website for as little as 5 cents a click. However, a year ago, Google wiped many of these companies out completely by raising their minimum click fee to $5.

However, there are still NICHES (and hopefully yours is one of them) where you can still get keywords for 5 cents per click.  I have several sites averaging only 3 cents per click.

The secret to Pay Per ClickChoosing the Right Keywords

To explain the importance of choosing the right keywords, let me tell you about Bobby Schwartz.  I met this marketer three years ago when I had first stumbled onto Rosalind Gardner’s "Super Affiliate Handbook. Currently, he is making over $100,000 a year within his niche online.  His niche is Carpet Cleaning.  What’s his secret?

1)  Choosing the Right Pay-Per-Click Keywords: He has built an extensive list of keywords for his site that is bringing him the right kind of traffic.  How do you select the "right" keywords? There is a trick to picking the right ones - and while it’s not difficult, this information is not commonly known.

Here’s a good example: If I’m looking for Live Chat Software, would I simply type in the words "Live Chat Software"? Maybe. But that search wouldn’t get me very specific information that would allow me to make a purchase immediately. More likely, I’d type in the phrase "Live Chat Software Reviews" or "Best Live Chat Software Buy Now". These are phrases used by people who are more likely to BUY immediately - and, because they’re so unique, the per-click price may be lower AND there may be less competition. It’s just one of dozens of secrets to selecting the right pay-per-click keywords.

Jeremy Palmer, who is a million-dollar-a-year super affiliate, has recently published a book on how he made his million with the right keywords. He spells out his entire system to selecting the right keywords in his book, High Performance Affiliate Marketing.  If you have no clue where to begin with your own pay-per-click campaign, you’ll want to invest in Jeremy’s system - and use it regularly until you become a KEYWORD master.

Please Note:  There are other pay per click programs available, if you’re serious about using pay-per-click advertising. You can also try:

 CNET Pay–per–Download

Another powerful way to get your product advertised is through software.  You can create software and list it with CNET.  When someone downloads your software, you pay CNET per download.  The CNET pay per download (www.upload.com) is a very powerful advertising utility. The pay per download program allows you to pay for advertisements in a similar way to Adwords, but you only have to pay if you actually get a download. The idea is that people will tryout the trial version and then upgrade when the trial expires.

When you post your software on www.upload.com, it will be displayed on www.download.com on a pay per download basis. People can read about your software and you don’t pay per click. When someone downloads your software, you will have to pay per download. Keep in mind that people looking for software go to www.download.com before any other place on the internet. You can also post a link to your site in your description and get traffic that way. Once they get to your site, this may lead to another conversion.

When you get into the PPD program, you get the following:

·         Top placement on category pages

·         Listing on relevant post-download pages

·         Product file hosting and daily reporting

·         Top placement on related search result pages.

These placements are very valuable and will provide you with more downloads than any other form of advertisement currently available on the internet. When posting a PPD, it is very important that you give complete descriptions. You’ll get more downloads when you list the MAJOR points of your product.

The more downloads you get from CNET, the more likely you are to get free advertising on forums and newsgroups. People who enjoy your product will inform others of this product. This is another example of viral advertising. These viral marketers don’t cost you a penny, but will probably provide you with higher number of page views and downloads.

But Kit, I’m not a programmer?

That’s where you take an idea like a simple directory manager and then, go to rentacoder.com.  Pay them next to nothing to create the software, and now you have software to put on CNET!

Website Ads

You can also place ads on other websites, especially the ones that are getting MILLIONS of visitors.  It’s a great way to borrow their visitors and make them yours.  The trick is to offer valuable content to keep them coming back for more and more, and get them to OPT-IN your list so you can follow-up with them.

There are several advertising sources, and as I test them out, I will post the ones I know that work.  I do recommend AdBrite.  You are in control of how much you spend and what sites you want your ad to appear on.  Click on the AdBrite Button below.. It’s very easy to search the marketplace and find comperable sites for your product.
