Creating Products on the Fly

The Weekend has Arrived!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.. I’ve been up since 4 o’clock reading the forums and creating to-do lists.

Last year, I noticed a different trend in creating products.  Yes, it was the year of Product Launch, and do you remember when people were launching a different product every week for 6 months straight!  What a crazy year.

I like the concept of creating products on the fly.  I see this mostly in coaching programs and technically, John Reese did it with Traffic Secrets

The way it works is this:  You sell tickets or seats to your MAIN EVENT.  The main event can be teleseminars, interviews, private meetings, or live seminars.  You charge from $1,000 to $2,000 to $10,000.  You’ve made money to start the show.  Then, as the event goes on; you tape it, you record it, you print it out - whatever it takes to get the physical product.  Once the MAIN EVENT is complete, you package it and sell it.

Then, after 6 months, you package the resale rights to the product and give out a limited number of licenses.

I’ve also seen this happen with coaching programs.  Coaches go to their list (if you don’t have a list, then you are not in business) - they pitch a couple of teleseminars.  They print handouts for all the callers to take notes.  Then, on the first teleseminar, they invite everyone back, charge them a nominal fee, for the Masters of Business Coaching Class.  They run the numbers and see if the FIRST teleseminar’s orders were enough to start the class.  Then, every week, the coaches get them on the line with handouts.  Easy enough.

They record the calls.  The put all the handouts together.  Opa - Instant Product!

Now you can use the Product Launch Formula to launch the physical product that you just created.

Let me know how this works for you,

Onwards and Upwards,

Kit
