Okay, I’m having a hard time understanding Entireweb’s Affiliate Rules. When it says I earn $10 for each sale, why do they pay me $4? When they say they hold paychecks until it reaches a certain amount, why is it that as soon as I’m close to getting my paycheck, the affiliate program mysteriously starts "acting up".
Let me back up. I started promoting Entireweb this past summer because MOST of our FREE website members wanted a QUICK solution to getting their websites listed on the search engines. According to my tracking records, I was SENDING droves of new business their way.
Then, I would login to their tracking logs, and I was stuck at $50 commissions for the longest time. Finally, I emailed them. They said that their affiliate program had bugs and they were getting worked out. Well I noticed that they accept CLICKBANK as a processor and I probably would get proper credit through Clickbank.
So I emailed everyone and said please pay through Clickbank so I can get proper credit. I noticed some sales going through my Clickbank account, but the AMOUNT was FOUR DOLLARS per sale.
NOT THE TEN that is listed on their website. I immediately wrote Clickbank. What’s going on here?
They responded with: Entireweb has TWO affiliate processors: THEIR OWN and CLICKBANK. On their website, they claim to pay $10 for each sale, but that is through their OWN affiliate processor, NOT clickbank. Since they are not listed in the marketplace, they can PAY whatever percentage they want to.
Could someone please clue me in here? If a website says they pay $10 per referral, then they should pay $10 per referral REGARDLESS of who’s keeping track of what. Am I missing something here?

I am a student of Rosalind Gardner’s Blog Classroom, and I finally learned how the architecture of a site affects whether or not people will come back to the site. I still have lots to learn (like when I tried to change the directory and wiped the site out completely).

I have little programming or design skills, but by using rent-a-coder, along with some advice from other experts, like Rosalind Gardner, I’ve been able to create and grow this site.
